Hi. Have you ever found out something about yourself that scared you just a little, but soon you got over it? Well, I have. And now I have a new family. I'll tell you about it. This is my life and unlike my brother, I'm not ashamed of it.
I have two indentities. One I show the rest of humanity and the one that I have to keep a secret. Well, I'll start with who I am after I was adopted by the Kent's: Jonathan and Martha.
They found me...well technically I found them. After they took Clark and I home, I was strangely at home. I was two years old, so I didn't know all the things I did, but from what mom and dad have told me, I did a lot of things no two year old 'normal kid' could do.
They named me Cassie "Lara" Kent because Cassie was the name of Martha's favorite aunt. My middle name is the name of my brother's real mother. It was his first word. Which counts since usual a child's first word is 'mom'.
Anyway, I have been attached to Clark ever since then, and they gave me the name 'Lara'. I like it. It makes me really feel like Clark's sister. Speaking of Clark, he is an awesome brother. I know he gets annoyed with me sometimes, but I know he loves me.
So getting back to me, where was I? Oh right. Well, mom and dad told me that I lifted the kitchen table above my head, washed the dishes with my mind, and then healed dad after he got hurt trying to fix the table I broke.
I obviously had powers which wasn't normal. But then again what's normal?
I love doing the 'normal' stuff people do, but it makes me sad that I have to hide who I really am. It took a long time for mom and dad to make me understand why.
"If the wrong people found out, they'd take you and Clark away from us."
I never thought about that. The thought of someone taking me away from my family scared me. So I was careful never to use my abilities in public... only on the farm and even then I'm careful.
My brother, Clark, has two best friends. Pete Ross and Chloe Sullivan. They are pretty cool. I like Chloe she's into weird things, just like me.
Chloe thinks it's cute that I follow my big brother around, but Pete thinks it's annoying and so does Clark. I know they think that because I can read their thoughts. It's another one of my abilities. I can hear people's thoughts and know what they think.
Although, Clark is the only one I can talk to telepathically. That's one reason why we are so close. We both have a dark secret.
As for my secret?
Well, I'm the daughter of Venus and Mars. I know. It sounds strange, but it's true. Venus Genetrix, (which means mother), and Mars Condatis is my father (he was a god of water and healing) So my real name is Zana Genetrix Condatis.

A lot has happened over the years as I grew up. There are good things and bad things about Clark and I. The good news is we have family and friends who love us, but the bad news is along with us came meteor rocks.
During the meteor shower many people got infected and turned. Clark and I blamed ourselves. But really it wasn't our fault.
Well, now Clark is a senior and I'm a sophomore. This is our story. Clark has been in love with a girl named Lana since they were freshmen, maybe even before that. What happens when he falls for someone new?
As for me, I have my eye on someone, but does he think of me the way I think about him, or are we just destined to be as we are?
